High Force is a spectacular waterfall in Upper Teesdale, the River Tees drops 21 metres!
It's situated aong a footpath beside the B6277 - 4.5 miles west of Middleton in Teesdale. It can't be seen from the road so expect a walk along the gently sloping gravel path. It's a pleasant walk about a third of a mile and has several resting points along the way.
