Annfield Plain - County Durham

Annfield Plain is a small town in north east England, it's about three miles from Stanley, situated between Stanley and Consett.

For many years the town had a Co-op, the original has been rebuilt at Beamish museum.

On the first of October 2007 its replacement was reopened as a Tesco.

Gardeners will enjoy the garden centre at Morrison Busty council depot. It has a good variety of plants at very competitive prices! It's Just just off the A693 behind the huge beehive shaped building, where they keep the road gritting salt.
