Gateshead Angel Photo Gallery

The Angel of the North is a major sculpture by Antony Gormley. It symbolises the North East's regeneration and celebrates it's engineering skills. The Angel is 20 metres high and 52 metres wide. If you stand at it's feet there are good views of the area, South towards Durham and to the North Newcastle and Gateshead.
