Alnmouth-Northumberland
A pleasant coastal village with sandy beaches and two golf courses including the 4th oldest in England. Village has restaurants, gift shops, coffee shops and pubs.
The Schooner Hotel is a listed 17th century coaching inn near the beach.
It is reputed to be haunted and was featured in the television series 'Most Haunted'.
